AVERE (The European Association for Electromobility) is the European association that promotes electromobility and sustainable transport across Europe. AVERE – founded in 1978 – is the only European association specifically representing and advocating for electromobility. AVERE aims to help support this transition to electrification and establish the right policy frameworks throughout Europe to ensure that effective business models can take advantage of this development. AVERE is the only European association representing and advocating for electromobility on behalf of the industry, academia, and EV users at both EU and national levels. Throughout its decades of activity, it has built a reputation as a recognised actor promoting sustainable mobility across Europe and the world. AVERE has the objective to promote the widespread use of electromobility in general and electric vehicles in particular in Europe and Africa. .
